Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proficiency in Zoho Books accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations in Tanzania
Knowledge in Tax Compliance Requirements for a business
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Job Description
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing all accounting and tax-related matters for our client's business. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: -
Recording day-to-day financial transactions in Zoho Books accounting software
Handling accounts payable and receivable processes
Reconciling bank statements and preparing financial reports
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
Ensuring compliance with Tanzanian tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns
Supporting the finance team in various administrative tasks
Collaborating with colleagues to maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies
Respond to external enquiries with auditors and authorities
